The Golden State Warriors may have had their struggles at times this year, with the most recent stint unfortunately coming right now, but the team is young and the roster is full of talent that will pay off long term.

One of the tricks to being good for a long time is to make sure your young talents sticks around and that’s what the Warriors are looking at when it comes to Klay Thompson. According to owner Joe Lacob, the Dubs are going to re-sign Klay Thompson this offseason, period.

Re-signing Thompson and pairing him with Steph Curry in the long run is going to pay off dividends. Already the Splash Brothers have been spectacular for the Dubs and helped keep them in a game they should have lost last night by a much wider margin.

Thompson alone won’t solve all of the Warriors problems, but losing him would create more than anyone would want to deal with.
