David West never backs down on the court. Whenever there is an altercation during an Indiana Pacers game, you know he’ll be somewhere close.

As the Donald Sterling news sets in, West has refused to back down from expressing himself, this time verbally. On Twitter, West let it all out, telling the world how he feels about the TMZ allegations. Here is a list of his tweets:

This wasn’t all West had to say on Sterling’s racism.

After the Indiana Pacers defeated the Atlanta Hawks earlier today, tying their respective series 2-2, the power forward had lots to say on the matter.

“He has a history of being a bigot and a racist.”

“The closeted bigots, the closeted racists. In the South, racism was something that was out in the open, but for that guy, his type of racism is more dangerous because it’s hidden. It takes a private conversation or a leaked phone call … for it to come out”

Surely enough, West isn’t the only player in the NBA that feels this way. But it takes guts to publicly air your grievances knowing it could affect you from a public relations standpoint. Obviously West doesn’t care and considering how important Sterling’s tape was, it’s good that he doesn’t.
