With the fallout still taking place following the incident involving Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling and the racist remarks that he was caught on tape making, one of the subjects of the controversy, Magic Johnson, still took some time out to reassure Clippers head coach Doc Rivers that he should be focused on basketball right now, not what’s going on in the media.

This was an incredible gesture by Johnson who has been brought into this mess by the comments that Sterling made on the recording about how he never wants Johnson at any of his team’s games.

While the comments themselves are absolutely inexplicable, the timing is not too great neither as the Clippers are in the midst currently of a run in the NBA Playoffs.

Johnson taking some time out to remind Rivers to focus on these games showed incredible character on the part of the Los Angeles legend.
