The Oakland Raiders have the No. 5 pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, which is right around the corner. Some Raiders fans asked ESPN’s Paul Gutierrez during a Twitter Q&A session about the future of wide receiver Juron Criner if they draft Clemson wide receiver Sammy Watkins. Gutierrez said he didn’t have Criner making the team anyways, but had an interesting suggestion involving receiver Denarius Moore.

From ESPN’s Paul Gutierrez:

"Moore could be trade bait, especially if Sammy Watkins does fall to the Raiders since so many — presently company included — see Watkins as Moore 2.0."

Gutierrez went on to cite Moore’s inconsistent play, despite flashes of brilliance. Moore had 46 receptions for 695 yards and five touchdowns in 2013.

"And that makes him an intriguing trade possibility for other teams that could perhaps absorb said inconsistency. But yeah, again, if the Raiders somehow get Watkins, I don’t know how Moore fits, at least, in May."

It will be interesting to see what happens.
