NBA Rumors: Heat owner Micky Arison says there’s 100% chance they keep LeBron James, Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade
Once the postseason comes to an end, the basketball world will shift their focus towards the 2014 NBA Draft in June and perhaps even more importantly, free agency in July.
It was just four years ago that LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh teamed up. Since then, they have won three Eastern Conference titles, two NBA titles and are the favorites to a win a third consecutive championship this season.
In the offseason, all three players can opt out of the final year of their deal and become free agents and all three are expected to do just that.
Heat owner Micky Arison, via Jason Lieser of The Palm Beach Post, is positive all three will re-sign.
"The most recent indication that those three will stay, be it through not opting out or by opting out and signing longer contracts, is from owner Micky Arison. When asked Monday by 790 The Ticket to give a percentage chance of keeping them with the Heat, he responded, “100 percent.”Earlier this year Bosh was posed a pair of true-false questions about him and James returning and answered “True” to both. James said in an NBATV interview in February that he could not picture himself leaving Miami."
Bosh has maintained the group will stay together throughout the season.
