With the NFL Draft just al title over a week away, teams around the league are hammering out their final draft strategies to make sure they’re prepared for whatever happens with their pick and the prospects that slide to them. For the Miami Dolphins, they’re keeping their eye on some mid-round talent to see if teams pass and allow big names to fall.

Per the Miami Herald, the Dolphins continue to have a growing interest in USC receiver Marqise Lee even if wide receiver isn’t an obvious need.

Lee is a name who could very well take a tumble on draft night and the Dolphins could be setting pretty at No. 19 overall to grab him. As is pointed out by the Miami Herald, wide receiver isn’t an obvious need for the Dolphins but they don’t have many elite names to pair with Mike Wallace and getting a solid one-two punch for Ryan Tannehill isn’t the worst idea ever.

They have other needs, but making sure their franchise quarterback doesn’t turn into a bust seems to be taking priority for this current regime.
