While many of the top-rated offensive linemen in the 2014 NFL Draft are expected to be selected in the top 15, there is Joel Bitonio of the Nevada Wolf Pack who has been generating plenty of buzz.

Bitonio has shot up draft boards to the point where he is expected to be a top-50 pick in next week’s draft.

There may not be one specific area of his game where Bitonio excels, but he is a versatile player that can play at both tackle spots and potentially even bump inside to fill in at guard. That scheme versatility and ability to play multiple positions makes him more valuable than the other second-tier linemen that are available this year.

Bitonio even worked out at all five positions along the offensive line during his Pro Day, so it will be interesting to see where he ends up playing at the next level.

One team that is believed to be very interested in Bitonio is the Carolina Panthers, and it would be a surprise at this point if he was not selected within the first two days of the draft.
