Earlier this offseason, the Denver Broncos found themselves in the headlines because of a visit to Tuscaloosa from quarterback Peyton Manning and Adam Gase. During the visit Manning and Gase met with Alabama head coach Nick Saban to discuss some strategies and exchange knowledge.

The meeting caught the attention of the NFL, who decided to investigate the visit to see if any offseason workout rules were broken.

There is still no word on whether or not the league will be punishing the Broncos for the visit, but they are still reportedly looking into the details and determining what the next step will be.

“It is pending,” NFL spokesman Greg Aiello told Pro Football Talk. “It is being reviewed.”

If it wasn’t for PFT reaching out, the story likely would have been forgotten, but now we have a fresh reminder that the league is still investigating even though punishment of any form is highly unlikely.
