In just one week’s time, the 2014 NFL Draft will begin in New York City at the famed Radio City Music Hall, as it has been since 2006, but will it be the last time that the Big Apple will hold the event for a while?

According to a report from the New York Daily News, it just might be.

"The combination of scheduling conflicts with Radio City and other cities eager to host what has become a hugely popular event could result in New York losing the draft as early as 2015. The NFL’s deal with Radio City is for this year only with options for the future."

It would be hard to imagine this multi-day event without the crazy, rabid Giants and Jets fans screaming in the upper deck, however taking the show on the road would make sense.

Multiple cities such as Pittsburgh and Chicago have all lobbied to host the draft at one point or another, and they may finally get their wish with having the chance to bid on one of the most anticipated sporting events of the year.
