Agent for Johnny Manziel gives first look at Nike’s new ‘Johnny Football’ line (Photo)

We don’t know yet how Johnny Manziel will fare in the National Football League, but one thing that we have known for quite some time is that he is already one of the most marketable athletes on the planet. Once he declared for the NFL Draft following his redshirt sophomore season, there was a bidding war for his brand among all of the major athletic clothing lines, which Nike eventually won out on.

On Friday evening the agent for Manziel, Erik Burkhardt, gave the first sneak peek into the clothing line before Nike rolls it out soon.


That’s just a small portion of what’s to come as you would imagine that Nike will be going all out with arguably one of the biggest clients that they’ve ever had. Even before this, they shot out a small line of clothing centered around his name on his Pro Day.

Once Manziel is selected by a team next week, there will be a lot more apparel coming out featuring both the team’s colors and the name of his brand.
