Bills could identify new owner, stadium within 90 days

Ever since the passing of Buffalo Bills owner Ralph Wilson, there has been speculation and discussion about the next possible owner. It hasn’t been quite as star-studded or enthusiastic as the race to buy the Los Angeles Clippers from Donald Sterling after his life time ban, and Donald Trump is the only notable name throwing his hat in the ring.
According to the Associated Press, the Bills could identify a new owner in just three months.
"A person familiar with the sale process told The Associated Press on Saturday there is an anticipation that the Bills’ could be sold by July, and the sale approved by NFL owners as early as the league’s meetings in October. The same person and another person also told the AP that at least one prospective ownership group has already toured potential new stadium locations in Buffalo."
The biggest issue that the Bills and Gov. Andrew Cuomo are facing is finding an owner who will keep the team in Western New York. Cuomo is leading the charge to keep the franchise in New York and is even considering hiring a consulting firm to produce a report identifying possible stadium sites and public financing options available.
