The Arizona Cardinals aren’t a team we’re taking to ouch about int he draft but that doesn’t mean they’re not hammer out possible strategies to roll with come this Thursday. While trading up in the draft seems to mainly apply to teams on the cusp of the top 10, the Cardinals haven’t ruled out moving up.

According to Josh Weinfuss from ESPN.com, the Cardinals will be looking to trade down if they can but there are certain scenarios in which they would trade up.

Per ESPN.com:

"“There are a few scenarios that we have talked about that we would consider moving up in the right circumstance,” Cardinals general manager Steve Keim said Thursday during a pre-draft press conference. “But for the most part, I think our philosophy would be to acquire more picks and move back."

The Cardinals trading up seems like a bit of a long shot but never say never when it comes to the draft. They may stay put with their picks but you can never count a team out if prospects start to fall when they otherwise weren’t supposed to.
