The NFL Draft is this week and it’s getting to the point where teams are in the 11th hour of changing draft strategies and hammer them down. One thing that seems to stay fluid throughout the draft is which teams will trade up and which ones will be taking prospects they otherwise haven’t been mentioned with in certain spots.

Derek Carr is a prospect who has been mentioned all over the place but no one team has locked him down as their guy. That being said, Carr is reportedly being told by ‘four or five’ teams that they’re looking to trade into the 20s to draft him in the first-round.

Per ESPN’s John Clayton:

"Fresno State quarterback Derek Carr said Friday four or five teams have told him they would like to trade into the 20s of the first round to draft him."

It’s not known who these teams are but it sounds like more than a few teams have the idea of taking a position other than quarterback at the top of the draft and then plan on trading back into the round to take the quarterback they want. This means we could see more than just Carr fall down the draft board and the top of the draft is perhaps more fluid now than ever.
