The NFL Draft is just around the corner and teams are starting to hammer out their final strategies when it comes to who they want to take and where they’ll end up picking. For the Rams, the are deciding between staying at No. 2 overall or trading back in the draft o pick up some extra picks.

In his latest mock draft, Los Angeles Times NFL reporter Sam Farmer doesn’t move the Rams back in the draft but does have them taking someone they may be able to get if they did trade down.

Per Sam Farmer:

"“Under this scenario, the Rams have a couple of options: trade down or take an offensive tackle. I don’t think they’ll take Sammy Watkins. I think they’ll take Matthews over Greg Robinson.”"

Robinson seems to be the best offensive lineman in the draft but Rams head coach Jeff Fisher has a history with the Matthews family that may put him ahead of Robinson. Still, if they’re targeting Matthews than trading back to get him seems the most likely option.
