The 2014 NFL Draft is right around the corner and that means all the rumors and speculation will be coming to an end soon, but not before Monday Morning Quarterback’s Peter King unleashed his take on things, notably about what the Jacksonville Jaguars will be looking to do in the draft.

"A peer of GM David Caldwell said Sunday he knows a big Jag priority will be to play it safe with this pick. Sammy Watkins or Jake Matthews … quite safe."

The Jaguars drafted an offensive tackle last season when they took Luke Joeckel of Texas A&M with the second overall pick. Drafting another tackle, albeit another A&M tackle as well, would shore up an offensive line that could benefit who is ever in the backfield.

They might be tempted to draft Sammy Watkins instead with the lackluster career of Justin Blackmon and potentially season-long suspension.
