For weeks we’ve heard rumors suggesting the Dallas Cowboys, in need of defensive help, have interest in former UCLA linebacker Anthony Barr.

A solid pass rusher, Barr would instantly improve the Cowboys front seven assuming he’s available come Dallas’ 16th selection. But we’ve heard reports suggesting the Cowboys could be interested in moving back as well, however according to Bryan Broaddus, that seems unlikely if Barr was still on the board.

"“@ROGUE54q: Not a fan of moving back but I’m thinking we may have to if Donald and Martin are not there. Thoughts?” Not moving from Barr"

Barr has drawn interest from a handful of teams, including those picking above the Cowboys so it’s no certainty that Barr will even be available come Dallas’ selection.

Some have even projected that Barr could slip into the top ten, though that seems to be a best case scenario for the former Bruin.

Of course, it could all be a smokescreen from the Cowboys but consider Barr as a serious candidate for the Cowboys at 16, if he lasts that long.
