While Michael Sam picked up most of the awards and accolades on the Missouri Tigers defense during their impressive 2013 campaign when they played for the SEC title, there are still a lot that believe it was the other defensive end, Kony Ealy, who is the more impressive all-around player.

Ealy’s quick rise up the draft board has been clear evidence of this, and on Tuesday Ealy expressed to NFL.com that the Dallas Cowboys and St. Louis Rams are the two teams showing the most interest with the draft just a few days away.

“Dallas was really good. I like them. They feel like they can use me across their D-line, inside and out,” Ealy told College Football 24/7. “St. Louis, same thing. Some teams don’t want me to say their names, but I got a good feel for every team I met with and the different schemes, terminology, and stuff like that.”

With the departure of DeMarcus Ware, the Cowboys are in the mix for a top-notch pass rushing threat, a bill that Ealy could easily fit.

The Rams are also in the market for some defensive help, although taking Ealy with the second pick is out of the question, but they could target him early in the second round with the 44th overall pick.
