The Oakland Raiders hold a top five pick in the 2014 NFL Draft which kicks off on Thursday, and many had believed they could be a potential landing spot for one of the top quarterbacks in the draft class.

However, the latest buzz seems to indicate the team will be looking in a different direction with their first-round pick.

According to Walter Football, the Raiders want a player who can contribute right away and that could lead to the team steering away from a quarterback. That could lead to the team looking to trade down with a quarterback needy team if the players they covet are not on the board.

Oakland is believed to have interest in Jadeveon Clowney, Khalil Mack, Mike Evans or Sammy Watkins, so we will have to wait until Thursday night to see how the draft plays out and which player the Raiders land.
