UPDATE: Leder says that the arrest actually occurred on Monday night, and Dareus was released from custody within the hour. Dareus was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

As the Buffalo Bills prepare for the 2014 NFL Draft in just two days, they were hit with an off-field distraction courtesy of starting defensive lineman Marcell Dareus. According to Travis Leder of WVUA-TV, Dareus was arrested on Tuesday night.
