Steve Kerr, at the moment, is one of the more sought after head coaching candidates in the NBA, despite never coaching a game in his career just yet. Nonetheless, he is certainly picking up a lot of offers, although Howard Beck of Bleacher Report is reporting that Kerr is only interested in two gigs–the New York Knicks and the Golden State Warriors.

"Although multiple teams have reached out to Kerr, NBA sources say he is focused strictly on the Warriors and the Knicks, each with a unique set of pros and cons."

Of course, as everyone knows by now, Kerr has been rumored for the Knicks job since Phil Jackson took over the reins of the operations within the organization recently, as Kerr would be perfect to implement Jackson’s style of offense with the Knicks.

As for the Warriors, they fired Mark Jackson on Tuesday after three seasons with the team, despite leading them to two straight playoff appearances. Once the news of the firing was official, Kerr’s name was brought up almost instantly.

Kerr, at this point, can seemingly go wherever he wants, so it shouldn’t surprise anyone if his final decision takes a bit longer than expected.

But ultimately it comes to whether or not he wants to rebuild with the Knicks or take over a Golden State team that he can win instantly with.
