The Cincinnati Bengals were a bit of a mystery when it came to what they’d end up doing in the draft but the time has come for the final decision to come down. With Johnny Manziel off the board, there was no temptation for the Bengals at No. 24 overall and they ended up going defense with their pick.

Instead, the Bengals stood pat and ended up drafting Darqueze Dennard from Michigan State with the No. 24 overall pick.

The pick makes a lot of sense for the Bengals as it gives them someone who can fill a big hole on the roster that they needed shored up in the long haul.
