The Baltimore Ravens aren’t one of the teams we’re talking about in the top half of the draft, but we’re still talking about them in regards to them trading their pick to someone else. Unlike other teams, the Ravens have little to no interest in trading up in the draft and are eyeing trading down from the No. 17 pick instead.

According to Ravens beat writer Matt Zenitz, the team is content with picking at No. 17 overall but are trying to move down to compile some picks before taking the man they want.

Per the Carroll County Times:

"“Can we pick at 17? We’ll be prepared to pick at 17,” Newsome said. “But also, we’ll be entertaining trades to be able to move back if we have to, if we want to.”Trading back is perhaps even more appealing than usual for teams this year."

The Ravens trading down makes a lot of sense as there are teams like the Philadelphia Eagles, San Francisco 49ers and even the Miami Dolphins are looking at moving up to take receivers and offensive players that won’t be there in the 20s.

Baltimore doesn’t have to trade the pick but they will be looking into doing so and it shouldn’t be hard to find someone who wants to move up.
