If the Detroit Lions are serious about continuing to upgrade at wide receiver and provide quarterback Matthew Stafford with even more weapons, they will likely need to trade into the top five for a shot at Sammy Watkins or Mike Evans.

However, if a trade does not come to fruition, then the Lions will have to stay put at No. 10 and see what falls into their laps.

With the tenth-overall pick, it would make sense for the team to take a cornerback like Justin Gilbert of Oklahoma State, but there is another player that they apparently have their eye on.

According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the Lions “love” UCLA linebacker Anthony Barr and he could be a name to watch.
