With the 2014 NFL Draft rapidly approaching, some trade rumors are starting to heat up suggesting the Houston Texans could be close to acquiring Ryan Mallett from the New England Patriots. As a result, the Patriots would need to replace Mallett and add a new back up to the roster.

This has led to some talk that the Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers could strike another trade that would send Mike Glennon to New England, but there appears to be no truth to those rumors.

Pro Football Talk reports that sources say “a Glennon trade to New England is not in the works.”
