Johnny Manziel is more than a football player. He brings a certain panache that only special players have. We already knew that Manziel is a media lightning rod, and wherever he did end up in the draft the media circus would follow.
Manziel ultimately fell to the Cleveland Browns as the 22nd pick in the 2014 NFL Draft. With Brian Hoyer as the Browns starting Quarterback, Manziel will likely have the opportunity to vie for the starting job during the preseason.
In all likelihood, the Browns fans will be clamoring to see Manziel get on the field as soon as possible. According to reports, in the 12 hours since Manziel was picked by the Browns, the team has sold over 1,500 season tickets:
Browns president Alec Scheiner told @darrenrovell that, in 12 hours after Johnny Manziel was selected, team sold more than 1,500 season tix.

Obviously this is what Scheiner and the Browns GM hoped for when they drafted Manziel. Johnny brings along an excitement to the Cleveland fan base that they desperately need. Now only time will tell if he can produce on the football field as well.
