The Houston Texans came into the 2014 NFL Draft with a number of needs and the number one overall pick to start filling them.

They began the draft, as expected, by picking Jadeveon Clowney with the first pick, giving them a huge bolster on the defensive line. Then they addressed their needs on the offensive line and tight end by picking Xavier Su’a-Filo and C.J. Fiedorowicz, respectively.

Later in the third round, the Texans did a little wheeling and dealing, and moved up to take nose tackle Louis Nix.

But what about a quarterback?

The Texans released long-time starter Matt Schaub during the offseason and added Ryan Fitzpatrick, but none of the quarterbacks currently on the Houston roster are worthy of being deemed their future leader.

Houston has six picked left on Saturday, and there are still some good quarterbacks that could develop into great quarterbacks left on the board.

The most recognizable names left are Pitt’s Tom Savage, Georgia’s Aaron Murray, LSU’s Zach Mettenberger, and Alabama’s A.J. McCarron.

All of them record-setters or championship winners, any of them could be a worthy pick from the fourth round on, but which is the best fit for the Texans?

Many analysts feel that either Savage or McCarron fit the Texans offense best, with both having experience with teams that run a more traditional offense based on the run setting up the pass game.

Who do you think the Texans will go after as their possible future quarterback?
