The NFL Draft is over and the list of players still floating out there will start to shrink as players being to find homes with teams that want to sign them. It’s a frenzy as players start getting signed the second the draft is over and the first hour after the draft is filled with dreams coming true.

Such can be said about Heisman Trophy finalist Jordan Lynch, who has signed with the Chicago Bears after going 256 picks without hearing his name.

This is a bit of an interesting choice as the Bears drafted David Fales to be a developmental quarterback under Marc Trestman, and Lynch may be adopted in a similar role.

Only one of them is likely to make the roster behind Jay Cutler, but it’s possible that they both beat our Jordan Palmer. It’s a logjam at the moment for the Bears at quarterback, but there are worse things than having too many quarterbacks.
