New York Jets 2014 Undrafted Free Agents
As is the case every year, once the draft comes to an end, there are many players still looking for a home. Usually, those undrafted players quickly sign with a team and get ready to go to work. Often times it is better for a player to go undrafted instead of getting picked in the final round. Players can assess their situation and see if a team has a need at their position or has shown a lot of interest in them. In some cases, players simply choose to stay closer to home. Obviously, the majority of undrafted free agents don’t make it, but there are still plenty who have made an impact.
Here’s a list of who the New York Jets signed as part of their undrafted free agent haul:
- Tevon Conrad, OT, Saginaw Valley State
- Steele Devitto, LB, Boston College
- Nick Dimarco, LB, William Penn
- Kerry Hyder, Jr., DT, Texas Tech
- Terrence Miller, WR, Arizona
Not everyone is going to end up being signed, as some are just going to be tryouts and nothing else. But they’re all names to keep an eye on as you never know who will pop.
