Once former Duke Blue Devils’ forward Jabari Parker and former Kansas Jayhawks’ center Joel Embiid decided not to attend the NBA’s Scouting Combine in Chicago, Illinois, it looked like Embiid’s former teammate, forward Andrew Wiggins, would not be attending either.

On Sunday night, Wiggins made it official, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports.

Pulling out of the draft will certainly raise the eye brows of some scouts. However, if the players are impressive in later workouts, it won’t matter. Plus, the three players look like near locks to be the first three players selected in the draft so they only need to really impress a handful of teams.

Wiggins averaged 17.1 points, 5.9 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.0 blocks per game for the Jayhawks last season.
