Former San Diego State running back Adam Muema became the butt of humor after leaving the combine early, claiming God told him he was going to be drafted by the Seahawks.

Evidently there was a miscommunication somewhere along the line because the Seahawks didn’t draft Muema. And neither did any of the other NFL teams.

After being totally let down by God and the Seahawks, Muema has decided on a new course for his life. He is giving up football in favor of boxing or ultimate fighting.

“I don’t like being a slave to money or coaches,” Muema told ESPN’s Joe Schad. “I prefer an individual sport.”

That is a classic tactic of the delusional individual right there. Failing miserably at something and then claiming you never wanted to do it anyway.

What will Muema say when he sucks at boxing or MMA? He doesn’t like getting hit in the face but prefers something more tranquil like tennis?

It’s probably not nice to make fun of this guy, given his obvious mental issues, but at the same time, the behavior is so ridiculous you almost can’t help yourself.

Adam Muema is going to wind up like Ginsberg on Mad Men if this keeps up. Somebody is going to get a nipple in a box.
