The Dallas Cowboys finished the 2013 regular season at 8-8 for the third season in a row and once again missed out on the trip to the NFC Playoffs, this time in a winner-take-all contest in the final game of the year against the Philadelphia Eagles. Will 2014 be the year that they get everything in order, stay healthy and make a run toward the Super Bowl?

That journey begins soon as the offseason training activities and minicamps will be getting underway shortly, and here’ s a look at the Cowboys’ preseason schedule for 2014.

OTA offseason workouts: May 27-29, June 2, June 4-5, June 9-12
Mandatory minicamp: June 17-19

This is where we’ll get our first look at the progression of QB Tony Romo and his recovery from back surgery to repair an injury that actually left him out of that final game against the Eagles last year.

The defense will need a lot of work as well, especially with the departure of DeMarcus Ware in free agency, however the team did go out and draft Demarcus Lawrence in the 2014 NFL Draft this weekend to try and fill that void as best as they can.
