Because Twitter.
That’s going to become the reasoning behind more suspensions, fines, player fights and misunderstandings than anything in the history of sports. And here is the latest example.
Over the weekend, the Buffalo Bills traded for Philadelphia Eagles running back, Bryce Brown, and teammate LeSean McCoy wanted to wish him a fair-thee-well on Twitter, but in the process, stirred the pot just a little.
@BryceBrown_34 my boy it's been fun... Good luck with everything and knowing what they got and knowing what they getting lol starter day 1

Now of course, this wasn’t going to go unnoticed (or un-replied to) by Jackson, who is one of the Bills current running backs.
No disrespect to @BryceBrown_34 but @CutonDime25 starter day 1 huh? I think @CJSPILLER and I might wanna bet something on that! #BillsMafia

@CutonDime25 Oh yeah! It's Me! Open up that check book Bruh Bruh and let me know what u wanna lose!
— Fred Jackson (@Fred22Jackson) May 12, 2014
McCoy might need to backtrack a little…

— LeSean Shady Mccoy (@CutonDime25) May 12, 2014

All’s well that ends well, right?
These young kids today. If only all “Twitter Wars” could be this lighthearted and civil. Sit and learn, Bryce Brown…sit and learn.
