The Cleveland Browns have a big decision ahead of them when it comes to what they will do with wide receiver Josh Gordon, but it appears that they have decided to stand by him in the long run. But in the short term, the team will still need a replacement for Josh Gordon and that has them looking at a few former stars to possibly get the job done.

According to Ian Rapoport from NFL Network, the Browns may target former Jets receiver Santonio Holmes and former Cowboys wide out Miles Austin to fill in for Gordon while he serves out whatever suspension comes his way.

It’s unclear what punishment will come Gordon’s way and we don’t know how long he’s going to be suspended. Even if it’s just for a few games, with Johnny Manziel in town now it might not be a bad idea to get as many weapons as possible to make the offense as explosive as the front office can.
