Despite the New York Knicks being the heavy favorite to land Steve Kerr as their next head coach, the Golden State Warriors swooped in and signed Kerr to a five-year, $25 million deal.

Warriors’ owner Joe Lacob is very excited about the move and Marc J. Spears of Yahoo Sports has the scoop.

Kerr certainly has a lot of talent to work with, but in the Western Conference, just advancing out of the first round is quite the chore.
