After one year in the Duke Blue Devils’ program, forward Rodney Hood decided to leave for the NBA Draft.

According to Alex Kennedy of Basketball Insiders, Hood met with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Charlotte Hornets, Los Angeles Lakers and Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday.

The 6’8, 201-pound Hood obviously has good size to be an NBA small forward and his shooting stroke (he shot 42.0% from beyond the arc for the Blue Devils last season) will make him a valuable commodity in the NBA. As for the four teams that like him, it looks like a stretch that a team in the lottery will select him and the Thunder would probably have to move up to get their hands on him as well. The Bobcats (soon to be Hornets) would clearly have to make a move to draft him as well.

Hood is ranked as the 22nd-best prospect in this year’s class by Draft Express. He averaged 16.1 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game last season.
