Australian point guard is probably the most interesting player in the draft. Fans and pundits have rarely seen much from him so listening to Exum during this week’s NBA Scouting Combine gave a lot of insight into him.

Although he has denied reports he only wants to play for certain teams, there have been several stories suggesting he would prefer to play for the Los Angeles Lakers or Orlando Magic.

The main reason Exum has been consistently brought up with the Magic is that he is close with Victor Oladipo, who the Magic selected with the second overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft. In fact, according to Josh Robbins of The Orlando Sentinel, Exum took a visit to Indiana last year and the two have developed an excellent relationship.

"Dante Exum considered attending college in the U.S., and he took his lone college visit to Indiana University, where he met Hoosiers star Victor Oladipo. Oladipo, who just completed his rookie season with the Magic, and Exum developed a rapport — one strong enough that Exum has said he’s interested in playing for Orlando."

Exum and Oladipo, the runner-up for the Rookie of the Year Award, could give the Magic a dynamic back court for years to come.
