Indianapolis Colts coach, Chuck Pagano, is confident that the team will get passed any controversy resulting from the Robert Mathis suspension.

Pagano made the following statement Saturday:

"“We’ll get through this, we’ll come together as a team, we’ll come together as a family, we’ll come together as an organization and we’ll get through this. We love and respect Robert Mathis. He’s a horseshoe guy, he’s a pillar guy. Like I said before, we’ve got his back. Everybody in this organization has his back, and we’ll get through this and at the end of the day, we’ll all be better for it.”"

It is far too soon to say who will take Mathis’ spot on the roster, however there are some eager players hoping to take advantage of the situation. Mathis will be missing the first four games, giving an ample amount of time for other players to step it up.

"“Somebody will take advantage of the opportunity and play great football.”"

The support and union of the team through a situation such as this is incredibly admirable quality of the entire Colts franchise.
