Peyton Manning throws footballs to Virginia students while delivering valediction speech (Video)

Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning was on the University of Virginia’s campus for their valedictory exercises on Saturday. Manning was invited to speak to the students, like some many distinguished people are during the graduation time of year.
Manning has a connection to Virginia because wife, Ashley, is a 1997 graduate of U.Va.’s McIntire School of Commerce and he started his speech by telling the crowd she’s the smartest person he knows.
He then said that he regretted never throwing a football on the lawn where the ceremony was being held and said he was going to fulfill that today and called the names of three students to come forward.
He also told the students he’d understand if they were nervous, and promised if they dropped it that the video wouldn’t make it to YouTube. To find out if they dropped it or not check out the video below and listen to Manning’s words of wisdom for the students.
