Now that it looks almost inevitable that the Minnesota Timberwolves will be dealing star power forward Kevin Love, teams are lining up to get their hands on him.

One of the most intriguing destinations for Love is the Houston Rockets. The Rockets have a fantastic team led by the game’s best center, Dwight Howard, and one of the game’s elite scorers, James Harden.

According to Sam Smith, of ChicagoBulls.com, the Rockets believe they can pry Love away with a deal involving young, cheap forward Chandler Parsons and center Omer Asik.

"Houston, like with rumors of a trade involving every top player (and they have gotten a few), is said to be involved. They only have a low first rounder. But they supposedly believe they can make a deal involving Omer Asik and Chandler Parsons to get Minnesota what it wants. Of course, they always say things like that."

Of course, if the Rockets could pull it off (and it appears to be a long shot), they would instantly become one of the favorites to win the 2014-15 title.

Love averaged 26.1 points, 12.5 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game this season.
