The signs are there.

Baltimore Orioles third baseman Manny Machado might not have 100% returned to form just yet, but the signs are there that he is getting more comfortable.

More from Baltimore Orioles

On the defensive side of things there is nothing quite like a spectacular play from Machado at the hot corner. Having made a name for himself with his crazy range and rocket of a right arm, perhaps the greatest sign that Machado is healthy and ready to go would be a series of great defensive plays.

That might have started on Thursday night with this diving stop and throw to first to rob Carlos Santana of the Cleveland Indians of extra bases. What might be the most impressive about this particular play is the fact that Machado appeared to simply flick his wrist to make a strong throw and get the out.

With Santana also attempting to play third base this season, something that has been an awkward transition indeed, there might have been some envy in the Cleveland dugout as Machado made this play.
