But the Patriots managed a decent haul of their own to counter, with the prized jewel of their offseason being the signing of All-Pro cornerback Darrelle Revis. Tom Brady, who had been abused for years by Revis Island when it was locate din New York, is already a big fan of having Revis not he team, but maybe not so much throwing against him in practice.

Peter King followed Brady around for his MMQB column this week and managed to discuss, among many other things, how it was so far to throw against Darrelle Revis.

"Now he was in Foxboro. The clock struck 7. Last question: “How’s it been to work and throw against Darrelle Revis so far?”“I’m tired of throwing against him, that’s for sure,’’ Brady said. “I did tell him, ‘Hey, we plan on building a couple of hotels on your island over there, so don’t be offended.’ “"

Of course, this time around, Brady isn’t throwing against Revis in a live game as it’s just practice, but it appears that no matter how hard he tried there’s just no avoiding Revis Island. Thankfully for Brady, this time around Revis is on his side and won’t be crushing his dreams with interceptions against the Patriots, rather interceptions that take Brady’s dreams — hopefully — back to the Super Bowl.
