Last month, Washington allegedly choked the mother of his child which led to some injuries before he ultimately plead guilty to aggravated assault charges.
The charges will lead to a violation under the NFL’s personal conduct policy, so we know that a suspension is coming.
The only question is how long will Washington be on the sidelines?
Last season, Washington was handed a four-game suspension for violating the league’s substance-abuse policy, so there is really no word on what the duration of the suspension will be.
Some had believed that Washington would get another four-game ban, but it looks like the punishment could be more severe.
Due to the nature of the allegations against Washington, there is no punishment that could be considered too harsh.
