Australian point guard Dante Exum is one of the big mysteries of the 2014 NBA Draft.

More from NBA

It doesn’t look like Exum, who measured in 6’6 and 196 pounds with a wingspan of 6’9.5 at the NBA’s Scouting Combine will fall out of the top four or five and some believe he could go as high as two the Milwaukee Bucks. However, Exum hasn’t played high quality competition, which is why many wonder how he’ll translate to the NBA.

Another problem some have with Exum is it is widely believed he has tabbed the Los Angeles Lakers, who hold the seventh-overall pick, as his destination. Although it is true he would love to play for the Lakers, he won’t refuse to play anywhere.

His most likely destination appears to be the Orlando Magic, who hold the fourth-overall pick. Exum is a “big fan” of the number two overall pick in last year’s draft, Magic guard Victor Oladipo.

Steve Kyler of Basketball Insiders has the scoop.

"Equally in the same interview he said Orlando looked appealing to as he is a big fan of Victor Oladipo’s. I think you have to take the comments from a 19 year old with a grain of salt. The Magic are not relocating anywhere… they have a hefty virtually unbreakable lease on Amway center, that spans almost 30 years. Now they might gets sold, that’s something I think very much could happen. There is no scenario in which the Magic are anywhere other than Orlando unless Florida cracks off from the continent and sinks into the ocean and if that happens I am totally screwed."

Oladipo averaged 13.8 points, 4.1 assists and 4.1 rebounds per game last season.
