Injuries are something of a sore subject for Patriots receiver Danny Amendola, in more ways than one. See what I did there? Injuries? Sore subject?

But seriously, what is eating Danny Amendola? Dude lasted about two questions during his Tuesday interview with the Adam Jones Show on 98.5 The Sports Hub in Boston before hanging up the phone in a huff. Jones asked perfectly reasonable questions about Amendola’s health, and Amendola I guess didn’t want to answer them so he cut short the interview.

The audio is here. Take a listen. The interview is totally respectful and civilized. The hosts aren’t being the least bit adversarial or jerky. Amendola just flat out can’t handle being questioned about injuries.

Yes, I’m sure he’s stick of talking about the injury stuff, but come on. That’s no way to behave. Amendola just seems like a petulant ass. News flash for Amendola, the injury questions aren’t going to go away. He better learn how to deal with them or he’s not going to be a very happy guy.

I’m sure there are other players in multiple sports who can school Amendola on the proper way to deal with the Boston media. Trust me, hanging up in the middle of interviews is not the way to go. Getting contentious with the Boston media is not going to work. Those guys will eat your for breakfast, puke you up and eat you again for lunch, with a side of chowder.
