Mike Trout is back in the Angels lineup vs. Astros
By Dan Zinski
The Los Angeles Angels have their superstar center fielder Mike Trout back in the lineup for tonight’s game vs. the Houston Astros. Trout missed both weekend games after coming down with back stiffness, and had to leave Monday’s game after a single at-bat with the same problem. He sat out again Wednesday night but had an MRI and was cleared. So, Trout will give it another go and hope the back holds up.

The Angels aren’t taking any chances with Trout and will employ him as a DH in his first game back. They’re sort of easing him back in there. Like when you’re feeling a little sore and you lower yourself slowly into the bathtub. You don’t want to go too fast because you might tweak something.
Yeah. It’s exactly like that. Except you’re not Mike Trout. You’re just some guy with a bad back lowering himself slowly into a bathtub because any twinge of pain makes you cry like a girl.
Trout will bat in his familiar #2 hole vs. Houston. He’s hitting .293/.379/.546 on the season with 11 HR and 38 RBI.
