It is obviously a huge day for the San Antonio Spurs as they prepare for game 1 of the NBA Finals against the Miami Heat Thursday night.
It is also, however, a big day for the future of the Spurs’ franchise. On Thursday, the Spurs are set to work out several prospects. The Spurs are a team that has been built through the draft and the Spurs would obviously like to find another gem or two with the 30th, 58th and 60th-overall picks in the 2014 NBA Draft.
According to Jeff Goodman of ESPN.com, the Spurs are working out former Michigan Wolverines’ forward Glenn Robinson III, former Wichita State Shockers’ forward Cleanthony Early and former Baylor Bears’ center Isaiah Austin.
San Antonio will host Glenn Robinson III, Cleanthony Early and Isaiah Austin for a workout today, sources told ESPN.
