The Miami Heat and the San Antonio Spurs began their NBA Finals rematch on Thursday evening with Game 1 down in Texas. So far, it’s been all that we expected with these two powers, even with how hard it will be to match what they did last year in that seven-game classic.
There has been one small problem, however.
Throughout a good portion of the game, there has been no air conditioning in the building, making the temperature inside the AT&T Center a fiery 88 degrees, rather uncomfortable for not just the players on the court, but the fans that paid very good money to watch history.
Of course, twitter has been on fire (pun intended) with the reactions:
A 4-point play in the 2014 NBA Playoffs. Grass is green, the sky is blue & supposedly (although unconfirmed) the AC doesn't work at the game

I don't know the line but I'll still take the over on AC jokes for the next hour.

Anyone else OK with the AC being turned off for the next six games?

I didn't have AC growing up. We had to go catch pigeons then hold them to our face while they tried to fly away.

If my dear sweet abuelita hadn't passed away, I would swear she's controlling the AC at AT&T Center. #MIAvsSA #NBAFinals

Fantastic. Simply, fantastic.
