So Andre Johnson is basically fed up with the Houston Texans and wants to leave. He skipped the first day of OTAs and is planning on not going to mini-camp either.

More from Houston Texans

From CBS Sports about a week ago:

"Texans receiver Andre Johnson, who has expressed frustration with the team’s offseason moves, skipped the first day of OTAs as expected, reports the Houston Chronicle. Johnson said earlier he plans to miss OTAs and the team’s mandatory minicamp in June.“I’ll let Andre speak for himself,” Texans coach Bill O’Brien told the media Tuesday. “We’d love to have him here. That’s up to him.”The seven-time Pro Bowler “remains at odds with the organization,” the report said."

It certainly seems like Johnson is just done playing for the Texans and will continue to sit out until the team trades him.

Of course, the team still wants him around because he’s one of the best wide receivers in the league and can help them win football games. That includes his teammate, running back Arian Foster.

The other day, Foster made his best recruiting pitch yet, releasing a fantastic Instagram video in an effort to woo Johnson back to the team.

He just refuses to let Andre go.

We see plenty of times when athletes get themselves into trouble on social media, but then there are times like this when it’s all worth it.

Props to Arian Foster, because this is brilliant. Now we just have to wait and see if it will work.
