The final voting has been tallied and we now know which NFL star will grace the cover of the much anticipated Madden 15 video game. After the lengthy process, Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman will continue his successful year that started with a Super Bowl victory back in February as he beat out Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton in the finals.
Afterward, a lot of people on twitter had a reaction to the outcome, as usual.

Yess!! Richard Sherman is the cover athlete for Madden this year so now he'll get the curse and tear his ACL or something

Of course, there has to be a lot of pessimism thrown in there about the “Madden Curse,” it’s a yearly tradition. Still, congrats to Sherman on continuing what has been one hell of a successful year.
