NBA Draft Rumors: Dante Exum to work out for Bucks, 76ers & Magic

Australian point guard Dante Exum was once the enigma of the 2014 NBA Draft.

More from Milwaukee Bucks

Now, Exum seems like a lock to be one of the first four picks in the 2014 NBA Draft and is being put in the draft’s elite group of players along with former Kansas Jayhawks’ center Joel Embiid, his college teammate, forward Andrew Wiggins, and former Duke Blue Devils’ forward Jabari Parker. In fact, there are some that believe Exum may have the most upside in the entire draft.

According to Chad Ford of ESPN.com, Exum is set to workout for the Milwaukee Bucks, Philadelphia 76ers and Orlando Magic, who hold the second, third and fourth selections in the draft. He likely won’t be working out for the Utah Jazz.

If Exum doesn’t want to work for any other team, he doesn’t have to and of course, just because he doesn’t work out for the team doesn’t mean they can’t draft him. Should the Bucks, 76ers and Magic pass on Exum, perhaps deciding former Oklahoma State Cowboys’ point guard Marcus Smart is a better fit, the Jazz could still select Exum.

Exum measured in at 6’6 and 196 lbs. with a wingspan of 6’9.5. He is slated by most to fall to the Orlando Magic with the fourth-overall selection.
